Another Entry in July's Junior Photo Fish of the Month competition Gideon Wren - Lyme Regis SAC Junior member - with a 1,345gms (2lbs 15ozs) Bass caught from the shore at Lyme Regis. This gives Gideon a specimen size of 31.24% in the competition.
What a superb Fish for the July's Junior Photo Competition!! Harvey Dyre landed his first ever Ballan Wrasse fishing in the Beer & District SAA Junior Shore Match fishing from Beer. This wrasse broke the club record that had stood for 25 years. In the picture are Harvey and Dan Ward (Junior Section Secretary), assisting Harvey to handle the fish which was then released safely back to the water. The fish weighed in exactly at 7lbs on club calibrated scales and earns Harvey a percentage weighting of 140% that puts him into the lead for July's competition. Well done Harvey!
Another entry in July's Junior Photo Competition. Keir Tweedale of Lyme Regis SAC with a L.S.Dogfish of 708gms (1lbs 9ozs) caught on Pegasus (Skipper Lewis Hodder) that gives him a specimen size of 51.98%.

Junior Photo Competition entry Ryan Male Lyme Regis SAC Junior member with a 1lb 8oz L.S.Dogfish caught from the shore at Lyme Regis during a senior shore match. This give Ryan a winning percentage of 61.15% in June's Junior Photo Competition. Just three days to go!
June Junior Photo Competition On Friday 30th June, Archie Sweetland of Honiton SAC (junior section) had a shore caught 3lb Small Eyed Ray at Budleigh which moves him into third place with a specimen size of 37.50%.
We have a new leader in the Junior Photo Competition for June! On Friday 30th June, Gabby Sweetland of Honiton SAC (junior section) caught a 1lb 14ozs L.S. Dogfish from the shore at Budleigh. This gives Gabby a specimen size of 75.00% and moves her into first place. Well done Gabby!!
The winner of May's Junior Photo Competition is!! Ryan Male of Lyme Regis S.A.C. with his shore caught L.S. Dogfish of 705gms giving him a winning percentage of 62.11% Well done Ryan.
The first entry is in for June's Junior Photo Competition Sam Norman of Lyme Regis S.A.C. with a 4lb 5oz Cod caught on Pegasus (Skipper Lewis Hodder) when wreck fishing for the very first time. This gives Sam a specimen score of 17.31%
Another entry for May's Junior Photo Competition Izzie Herbert (aged 7) of Lyme Regis SAC with a Ballan Wrasse of 539gms (1lb 3ozs) that she caught in the Lyme Regis SAC Junior match. This fish gives Izzie a specimen rating of 29.68%.
First entry is in for May's Junior Photo Fish Competition! It's Archie Sweetland from Honiton SAC pictured with a boat caught Small Eyed Ray fishing out of Minehead on the "Mary Ellen" skippered by Marcus James. The fish weighed in at 5lb giving Archie a specimen fish of 50.00%. Well done Archie!
We have a new leader in the Junior Specimen Photo Competition sponsored by West Bay Angling Centre. Keir Tweedale fishing in the LRSAC Senior Boat competition on Lewis Hodder's boat Pegasus broke the LRSAC Junior Boat record for a Cuckoo Wrasse with a fish weighing in at 487gms giving him a specimen size of 85.89%.

Another entry for the Junior Photo Competition. Ryan Male of Lyme Regis SAC Juniors with a shore caught Bull Huss of 1,323gms (2lbs 15ozs). This fish gives Ryan a specimen size of 36.46% and puts him into third place in this months competition.
Another Photo - this time for the Junior Competition Keir Tweedale of Lyme Regis SAC (Juniors) caught a Garfish of 187gms during the Black Bream Festival at Lyme Regis (Boat Pegasus - Skipper Lewis Hodder). This fish gave him a specimen percentage of 36.68% and puts him into fourth place in September's Competition.
Another photo for Keir in the Junior Photo Competition Keir Tweedale of Lyme Regis SAC (Juniors) came third in the Black Bream Open Festival held at Lyme Regis which attracted 27 anglers. The competition was based on the aggregate score of a pair of Black Bream brought to the scales. Keir's total was 2,142gms based on two fish of 1,558gms and 584gms. The larger fish was 3lbs 7ozs and broke the LRSAC Junior Record. Keir was fishing on Pegasus (skipper Lewis Hodder). This gave Keir a specimen score of 98.05% and puts him into first place in September's competition.
Another entry in this months Junior photo competition. Ryan Male of Lyme Regis SAC (Junior section) with a Garfish of 386gms (14ozs) which gives Ryan a percentage of 68.06%. This puts Ryan into first place in this month's competition and he beat his own club junior shore record with this fish.
4lbs 11ozs Ballan Wrasse! Pictured below is Joshua Johnson, a junior from the Plymouth area, with a superb 4lbs 11ozs Ballan Wrasse caught from the Hoe on ragworm on 8lb breaking strain line. The unfortunate thing is that it cannot be entered for the Wyvern Junior Photo Competition as Joshua isn't a member and the fish hasn't been authenticated on club scales. A new entry for August Junior Photo Fish of the month! Archie Sweetland of Honiton SAC Juniors with a boat caught 13.5oz Red Gurnard caught from Beer. This puts Archie in the lead with a specimen rating of 67.50%
A new leader in August's Junior Photo Competition Not only did Tori Ward of Beer & District SAA (Junior Section) go into the lead of this months competition with this Thick lipped Mullet of 3lbs 1oz which gave her 75.56% (caught off Beer Beach) but she broke the Beer & District SAA Junior record. Congratulations Tori!
Another entry in the Junior Photo Competition for August Jack Wraight (aged 10) of Lyme Regis SAC Junior section (fishing on Pegasus) caught this Black Bream of 889gms (just under 2lbs) which gave him a specimen percentage of 55.91% that puts him into third place in August's competition.
Two more super entries for August's Junior Monthly Photo competition - and they are both from the Sweetland family! Gabby Sweetland from Honiton SAC Juniors with a lovely 1lb 13oz Black Bream putting her currently in fifth place with a specimen size of 51.70%. Archie Sweetland from Honiton SAC Juniors with an even better Black Bream of 2lbs 7ozs putting him into second place with a specimen size of 69.67%
Another Junior entry in this months Photo competition. Reid Trevett of Honiton SAC Juniors with a 6oz Garfish caught from Seaton Beach. This gave Reid a 25% specimen rating.
A new leader in August's Junior Photo Competition! Archie Sweetland of Honiton SAC Juniors has been out on the boats again. A well as catching Cod, Thornback Rays, Small Eyed Rays, Garfish, he pulled in this very nice Undulate Ray of 12lbs 1oz. This gives Archie a specimen fish of 80.42% and puts him into the lead with only a few days to go to the end of the month. Well done Archie!
