5. Angling Trust Specimen Fish Award

This annual award, which runs from 1st December and closes on 30th November the following year, is for any specimen caught in the Wyvern Region which is over 100% (Seniors and Juniors). There are two sections – Boats/Kayaks and Shore.

Club Fish Recorders must send in the entry form to Eric Gerrey of the Angling Trust. These must be sent in on a monthly basis by a set time (see rules).

In January of the following year Eric notifies Club Fish Recorders of all those who have won an award. EVERY 100% specimen gets an award and a certificate. Bronze 100%-124%, Silver 125%-149%, Gold 150% plus. Clubs can then purchase engraved medals from the Angling Trust at a cost of £5 each.

6. British Record Fish

If you are lucky enough to catch a British record fish, first talk to your club Fish Recorder immediately! They should in turn contact David Rowe and complete the appropriate forms.

If successful you get a certificate from the BRITISH RECORD (ROD – CAUGHT) FISH COMMITTEE.
